What Is Carbon Plan?

The creation of a Carbon Plan is both an iterative and organic process. It involves the examination of every issue which may have an impact on the project from both a value and environmental point of view

By evaluating and interrogating each situation, our Clients are assured that nothing is overlooked and the maximum added value is attained cognisant of the environmental impacts.

Who Are Carbon Plan?

Carbon Plan is a Limited Company set up in 2006 by the two Directors Alan Calcott and Peter Taylor.

Carbon Plan currently has 8 Associate Consultants who deliver expertise in technical, research and project management roles.

Director - Alan Calcott

Alan Calcott - Director

Has worked in the construction industry for his entire adult life. He has spent 10 years working in London and Nottingham for Architectural and Interior Design companies including :

  • Aukett Associates
  • Maris Interiors
  • Dykes Naylor Associates
  • A-S-E Partnership
  • Johnson and Partners
  • ReardonSmith Architects

He is currently writting the thesis for his Masters (Architecture: Advanced Environmental and Energy Studies) which he is studying through the University of East London and the Centre of Alternative Technology in North Wales.

Director - Peter Taylor

Peter Taylor - Director

Is committed to sustainable development and champions the case for Industrial Ecology and the ability of the Private Sector to deliver significant change.
He can draw on over 20 years experience of operating in senior management roles for both private and public sector organisations including  :

  • 12 years at Dow Jones & Company developing Global Energy and Financial Markets.
  • A 3 year assignment at the Royal Mail as Managing Director of e-commerce security.
  • 4 years working in venture capital and interim management of early stage business.

He is currently writing a thesis and has recently been appointed as a course tutor and guest lecturer for the Masters course in Architecture: Advanced Environmental and Energy Studies operated by the University of East London and the Centre for Alternative Technologies in North Wales.
